Successful NORDGATE visit to Real Estate Arena 2022

From 18 to 19 May 2022, the sales alliance visited the Real Estate Arena in Hannover as an exhibitor.
After many restricted or virtual meetings during the COVID-19 pandemic, NORDGATE was finally able to attend a trade fair in person again. From 18 to 19 May 2022, the sales alliance visited the Real Estate Arena in Hannover as an exhibitor at a new nationwide industry platform that was held for the first time this year.
As the only participating business development association from Schleswig-Holstein, NORDGATE acted as an ambassador for the entire region north of Hamburg. There, the NORDGATE communities achieved their goal of making the region known to the industry and establishing contact with multipliers in the real estate industry. Ideal placement of the exhibition stand for the six communities of Neumünster, Bad Bramstedt, Kaltenkirchen, Henstedt-Ulzburg, Quickborn and Norderstedt, right at the entrance of the exhibition hall, attracted plenty of attention among the 3,000 visitors.
The alliance of six municipalities along the A7 motorway enjoyed a resounding success at the trade fair. Hanno Krause, Mayor of the Town of Kaltenkirchen: "NORDGATE is a strong, established community in which all business development associations are equally represented. Back in 2008 we realised that a parochial mentality would not help us to advance, and that we could only make the entire region stronger by working together, thereby helping us all individually. This social cohesion has given us many competitive advantages for settling companies in the metropolitan region of Hamburg. Commercial real estate is also a precious and now scarce resource here. Because NORDGATE is also well known outside the region, we receive high-quality enquiries from interested companies."
Heino Bubach-Bernhardt from the Neumünster Business Agency adds: "Once again we have demonstrated how much can be achieved when all of the partners join together. The NORDGATE alliance enables the participating municipalities, from Norderstedt to Neumünster, to attend large trade fairs and present their services in person once again. The innovative exhibition format, with its exciting discussion topics such as sustainability, new work, digitalisation and mobility has fostered an ideal environment for lively dialogue."
NORDGATE also hit the bull’s eye with its independently produced game "City - State - NORDGATE." With the slogan "Finding commercial real estate is child’s play," the popular classic game "Stadt-Land-Fluss" (City-Country-River) was extended with new headings like "Company," "Office Accessory" or "Break Snack." Federal Minister for Building Klara Geywitz purchased three sets for her children and revealed that they often enjoy playing "Stadt-Land-Fluss." The next NORDGATE joint trade fair visit is at the Expo Real trade fair from 4 to 6 October 2022 in Munich.
