A major effort for smaller businesses: Henstedt-Ulzburg expands commercial real estate

18.11.2020

At Kirchweg 128, the earthworks for new commercial real estate began in October. The already developed area of 12,300 m², which until 2018 housed a paintball centre, was divided into six smaller plots. In particular, this should allow small and medium-sized companies from Henstedt-Ulzburg to continue growing successfully.

"Companies relocating here naturally always benefits us," explains Mayor Ulrike Schmidt. "But we place at least as much value on supporting locally-based companies that offer jobs in our region and also create new jobs." The demand for the spaces ranging from 1,000 to 2,700 m² is high, and companies relocating here include a garden and landscape business, a bicycle dealer, a tax consultancy and a painting company. Interested parties can still apply for the last free space of 1,000 m² by contacting wirtschaftsfoerderung@h-u.de.
